Brief Biography
Prof. Mujeeb Shittu is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Director of the Medical Laboratory Science Program at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. A proud graduate of LAUTECH, he also holds a Master’s degree in Cell Biology and Genetics from the University of Lagos and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan Technological University, where he earned multiple academic honors.
Prof. Shittu currently serves as the President of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists in Diaspora (AMLSiD). His academic excellence, leadership, and contributions to the global advancement of Medical Laboratory Science have been instrumental in promoting innovation, professional development, and international collaboration within the field.
His dedication and vision align strongly with the mission and objectives of NIMELSSA Southwest, inspiring future Medical Laboratory Scientists to pursue excellence and global impact.
